What do you charge for a new garage door spring?
Our price list starts spring replacement from $150 per spring. On doors with two springs we usually replace both. The exact price for your door is agreed on site before work begins. More on spring repair →
Do you charge to come out and diagnose the door?
The diagnostic service call is $0 when you go ahead with the repair. You get the price on site and decide before anything is done. What a repair visit includes →
The door went heavy after a loud snap. What broke?
Almost always a spring. The springs carry the weight of the door, so keep it closed, stop pressing the opener button and give us a call. Signs of a broken spring →
Which opener and door brands do you service?
We work on the brands found in most Dallas garages, including LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie and Linear openers and Clopay, Amarr, Raynor and CHI doors. Opener repair →
Is a battery backup worth it in North Texas?
Yes for many homes. Winter ice storms and spring thunderstorms both knock out power, and a battery backup lets the opener run several cycles without it, so you are not pulling the release cord in the cold. Opener installation →
Hail dented one section. Do I need a whole new door?
Not always. If the damage is limited to one or two sections and your model is still available, a matching section can be swapped in. When several sections are hit, a new door can be the better value. Panel replacement →
My door is hanging crooked. Can I still use the opener?
No. Unplug the opener, keep people and pets away and do not try to force the door. A door that has left its rails can fall without warning. Off-track repair →
A lift cable looks frayed. Is that urgent?
Yes. A frayed cable can snap under load and drop one side of the door. Stop using the door until the cable is replaced. Cable repair →
Why does my garage door make so much noise?
Worn rollers and loose hinges cause most of the grinding and squeaking. New ball-bearing rollers usually quiet the door, and we check the track at the same visit. Roller replacement →
Can I call at night or on a weekend?
Yes. The line is open 24 hours a day, every day, and a person answers. Emergency repair →

Weather and Your Garage Door

North Texas swings from triple-digit summers to ice storms, and both are hard on doors and openers. The National Weather Service office for Dallas/Fort Worth posts storm and ice warnings, and the DASMA safety tips cover the basic checks any homeowner can do. The neighborhoods we serve are listed on our service area pages.
