Preston Hollow is the large Dallas neighborhood north of Northwest Highway, and it begins about two miles from our door. We reach it by Preston Road and Walnut Hill Lane, so calls here are among our shortest runs. The old estate area lies between Preston and Midway Roads, while the ranch-house streets run east toward Hillcrest Road and north to Royal Lane. Preston Hollow was a town of its own from 1939 until Dallas annexed it in 1945.
